Description
MYCON General Contractors partnered with De La Vega Development to deliver the retail component of the West Grove Shopping Center in McKinney, TX. Located at the southeast corner of US-380 and Custer Road, this ground-up, multi-building development represents a key addition to one of McKinney’s fastest-growing mixed-use districts.
West Grove is a 53-acre, Whole Foods–anchored mixed-use development located at the southeast corner of US Highway 380 and Custer Road in McKinney, Texas. MYCON completed all infrastructure improvements for the northern 35 acres, including grading, utilities, paving, retaining walls, and landscaping, as well as providing stubs and access for future development.
The project included construction of three retail shell buildings totaling 68,000 SF and a 45,000 SF Whole Foods shell space. All buildings utilized tilt-wall construction and featured a combination of wood panels, composite panels, masonry, and textured paint finishes.
