MYCON continues to demonstrate its expertise in self-storage construction through its ongoing partnership with U-Haul. The U-Haul of Grand Prairie project involved the ground-up construction of a new, one-story, 40,000-square-foot self-storage facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, designed to support and expand operations at U-Haul’s adjacent existing location.

From the outset, MYCON played a comprehensive role in the successful delivery of the project, drawing on extensive experience within the self-storage sector. MYCON was responsible for all phases of the work, including preconstruction planning, schedule coordination, project management, on-site construction oversight, and final delivery.

Constructed as a single-building development, the new facility was thoughtfully integrated with the neighboring U-Haul operation to enhance functionality and operational efficiency. Through close collaboration with U-Haul, MYCON delivered the project with precision while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
