MYCON has been selected by Green Acres Nursery & Supply, a renowned plant nursery headquartered in Southern California, to embark on an exciting new venture. Known for its extensive selection of plants and gardening supplies, Green Acres is extending its green thumb to the Dallas-Fort Worth area with its inaugural ground-up location in Melissa, Texas. This project marks a significant milestone in Green Acres’ expansion strategy, bringing its passion for gardening and outdoor living to the vibrant community of Melissa.
MYCON is steering a comprehensive build-out that spans over nine acres, crafted into three distinct yet interconnected spaces:
- Conditioned Space: Approximately 31,000 square feet of conditioned space will be designed to house a pre-engineered metal building. This space will be fully clad with masonry, stucco, and panels.
- Unconditioned Space: Another 26,000 square feet of unconditioned space will facilitate the outdoor display of an extensive selection of plants, garden tools, and decorations.
- Outdoor Space: A 60,000-square-foot outdoor area will feature landscaped displays, greenhouses, and outdoor living showcases.
