Description

MYCON continues showcasing its prowess in site development and construction through their partnership with North America’s largest do-it-yourself moving and self-storage operator, U-Haul. This project delves into the comprehensive site development of a 5.89-acre parcel, where MYCON constructed the new, three-building, 129,551-square-foot self-storage development in Denton, Texas, along E University Drive, just east of North Look 288.

From the beginning, MYCON played a crucial role in successfully executing this project, leveraging our extensive experience in self-storage construction. MYCON was deeply involved in every project phase, including pre-construction planning, schedule management, project management, on-site construction management, and final delivery.

MYCON worked closely with U-Haul to deliver: a 28,639-square-foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) for U-Box storage; a four-story, 98,512-square-foot self-storage building; and a single-story, 2,400-square-foot drive-up storage unit.

MYCON completed this project on time and within budget, demonstrating its commitment to excellence in construction and its dedication to fostering strong client relationships. This project highlights its expertise in the self-storage construction sector and its ability to deliver with precision and efficiency.
