This development, featuring a Tom Thumb-anchored retail center, exemplifies MYCON’s dedication to delivering outstanding construction solutions. This case study provides an in-depth look at the Lexington Village project, showcasing MYCON’s expertise in transforming 15 acres into a thriving retail and recreational space.
Located at the southwest corner of Eldorado Parkway and Coit Road in Frisco, Texas, Lexington Village is a multi-faceted development aimed at meeting the community’s retail needs while enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities. Anchored by a Tom Thumb grocery store, this project encompasses a wide range of construction elements, including grading, utilities, traffic enhancements, freestanding retail shell buildings, and a substantial focus on outdoor recreational areas. MYCON’s scope of work involved intricate grading and utility installations to prepare the site for construction, ensuring the efficient functioning of the retail center. Aesthetic masonry screen walls were constructed to define spaces and provide an attractive facade for the development. MYCON addressed traffic concerns by implementing a four-way traffic signal and constructing deceleration and turn lanes on Eldorado and Coit Roads, enhancing access and safety. Two freestanding retail shell buildings, each spanning around 15,000 square feet, were erected with framed structures, masonry veneer, and Prodema panels, providing flexibility for future tenants.
