MYCON Breaks Ground on 48-Room Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Tucson, Arizona

Queen Creek, Ariz., April 30, 2024 – Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. (MYCON) broke ground on Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital, a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at The Bridges mixed-used development in Central Tucson, Arizona. This marks MYCON’s first ground-up construction project in the Arizona market and the company’s first project with Cross Hospitals, LLC, a partnership between Kennor Cross Hospital Investors, LLC and Nobis Hospital Investments, LLC that develops and manages new inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in select US markets.

Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital will be located at 870 East Tucson Marketplace Boulevard, off Interstate 10 in Central Tucson. The new three-story, 55,098-square-foot hospital will feature 48 modern patient rooms, two rehab therapy gyms with advanced technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. The interdisciplinary team includes a specialized physical rehabilitation physician, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and trained nurses who provide individualized rehab care for patients with a disabling injury or disease.

To celebrate the start of the project, MYCON hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on April 26. Construction of Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital is estimated to be completed in June 2025.
