McKinney Corporate Center I at Craig Ranch stands as a testament to innovative design, meticulous planning, and efficient execution in the heart of the 2,200-acre Craig Ranch master-planned community. A three-story, 120,000 square foot multi-tenant speculative office building, this project was completed by MYCON utilizing the design-build delivery method in a remarkably brief period of ten months.
Situated within a sprawling 137-acre office park and surrounded by the meticulously planned business, retail, and residential community of Craig Ranch, McKinney Corporate Center I became a hallmark of modern architectural excellence. MYCON leveraged the design-build delivery method, streamlining the project from conception to completion. AutoDesk BIM 360 Glue was employed to facilitate coordination and construction through a Building Information Modeling (BIM) model. Notable among the building’s distinctive features were the integration of three distinct glazing systems, meticulously woven together to create a Class A aesthetic. A combination of stone and curtain walls added depth to the tilt-wall construction, meeting the visual standards set by Craig Ranch. MYCON’s involvement spanned preconstruction, programming, design, and cost management. Their proactive approach ensured the project’s completion within the initial budget, showcasing their adeptness at mitigating costs without compromising quality.
The project’s exceptional craftsmanship and architectural finesse earned it the prestigious “Best Commercial Veneer Stone Project 2014” award from the South Central Wall Ceiling and Plaster Association, further solidifying its acclaim in the industry.
