ELTEK Americas Headquarters
Project Details
Description
MYCON was tasked with constructing the new 124,000-square-foot headquarters for Eltek Americas, a prominent player in high-efficiency power systems for telecommunications and renewable energy projects. The project aimed to consolidate Eltek Americas’ operations into a single facility, bringing together administration, research and development, manufacturing, engineering, and warehousing functions. This consolidation involved the merging of two separate offices and a storage facility into a cohesive, state-of-the-art headquarters.
MYCON focused on creating a modern and comfortable office space that met Eltek’s needs for administration. This involved interior finishing, including flooring, partitions, HVAC, and electrical work. RMA and Engineering Labs. Eltek’s research and development activities required specialized laboratory spaces. MYCON designed and constructed labs to accommodate engineering and quality control, ensuring a conducive environment for innovation and product development. The heart of Eltek’s manufacturing operations, MYCON optimized this space for efficiency, incorporating industrial-grade flooring, machinery foundations, and utility infrastructure to support the production process. The warehouse mezzanine was added to maximize storage capacity and streamline inventory management. It featured reinforced flooring to support heavy loads and efficient access systems. The primary warehouse was a critical component of the project. MYCON constructed it to meet Eltek’s specific storage requirements, including racking systems, loading docks, and security features.
Merging two separate offices and a storage facility into a single cohesive headquarters required meticulous planning and execution. MYCON ensured seamless integration of these spaces, enabling efficient communication and operations. Designing and constructing specialized labs for research and development posed challenges in terms of safety, utility connections, and compliance with industry standards. MYCON worked closely with Eltek’s team to create labs that met their unique needs while adhering to regulatory requirements. Maximizing the efficiency of the warehouse space was crucial. MYCON implemented a strategic layout with efficient racking systems, clear aisleways, and well-planned access points to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
Conclusion
MYCON successfully delivered Eltek Americas’ new 124,000-square-foot headquarters on time and within budget. The consolidated facility provided Eltek with an integrated workspace that streamlined their operations, fostering collaboration between departments and improving overall efficiency.
The project’s breakdown of areas ensured that Eltek had dedicated spaces for administration, research and development, manufacturing, engineering, and warehousing. The new headquarters not only met but exceeded Eltek’s expectations, positioning them to further advance their leadership in high-efficiency power systems for telecommunications and renewable energy projects.
